Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy helps to restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability. It can also help to reduce your risk of injury or illness in the future.
Physiotherapy plays a vital role in managing the symptoms of MS and other conditions.
It can be used to:
- improve and maintain joint mobility
- improve and maintain balance and co-ordination
- delay muscle spasms
- maintain general fitness and normal patterns of movement
These will all help with limb control, reduce spasticity, improve strength, aid walking and work against further secondary complication.
Physiotherapy is available in personally focused sessions – our team will assess your individual symptoms and areas of difficulty, then develop exercise routines which will help you to control and improve them. They will monitor your progress and adapt the programme along with your changing needs.
